After purchasing from Plates Vault, it may take a maximum of 2 weeks for you to receive your new or replacement DVLA V750 Certificate of Entitlement. The DVLA will be notified of your purchase, and a new V750 Certificate will be issued based on the information you provided. However, if you don't require a new certificate and would like the new number plate you've purchased to go onto your car, this process is instant.

One of the most common inquiries we receive is about the legality of 3D and 4D plates. In straightforward terms, YES. The legality of these plates was established when the DVLA, in collaboration with number plate component manufacturers, reviewed the standards in March 2021 under the new code of BSAU145e. At Plates Vault, we only gather essential data required to issue your new registration to the DVLA. Our entire stock-list is registered with the DVLA, and it belongs to our physical inventory. Therefore, you can be confident that you are not buying from a broker.

To assign a registration to your vehicle, you can visit the GOV UK website between 7 am and 7 pm any day. You'll need to provide the credentials from your V750 or V778 Certificate to complete the process. If you prefer to assign the registration immediately, we can also email you the necessary credentials.

After placing your order, it is necessary to submit authentic documents that: - Confirm your name and address, such as a driver's license, utility bill, bank statement, or national identity card. - Demonstrate your authorization to use the registration number, including a vehicle registration certificate (V5C or V5CNI), new keeper supplement (V5C/2 or V5C/2NI), certificate of entitlement, or retention document (V778).

You can keep your registration on the issued Certificate for up to 10 years, and you have the option to extend this period for an additional 10 years near the expiry date.

After making a payment for a registration, it is not possible to obtain a refund. This is because we are selling the rights of ownership to the registration, which is classified as "Personalised Goods." Consequently, we do not provide a returns policy at Plates Vault.

The duration for receiving your new Certificate varies, typically taking up to 2 weeks, depending on the backlog at DVLA and the delivery time of Royal Mail services.

The price advertised for a registration includes the complete cost of acquiring the permission to display it on your vehicle, with no undisclosed expenses to be considered. Nevertheless, the purchaser has the option to alter the spacing of the registration according to their preferences.
